Summary: The show follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, who travel across the country in a black 1967 Chevy Impala investigating and combating paranormal events and other unexplained occurrences, many of them based on American urban legends and folklore as well as classic supernatural creatures such as vampires and ghosts.

Sam and Dean come across a series of comics called Supernatural depicting their lives as demon hunters in detail. The brothers meet the author of the comics, Carver Edlund, who explains he has visions of Sam and Dean in action then puts their adventures in the comics.
